I started my career on the digital brand & innovation side at Nike before moving into Product Design in 2019. I like to think Product Design is not just about how things look, but also about how they work and how they make people feel. I've continuously worn multiple hats: being a freelance designer for a small startup, a design advisor for different startups, and a design mentor for designers looking to transition and/or grow in a design role.

Present

For the past 4+ years, I've been leading design for Back Market’s circular services (trade-in, recycling) and more recently also their Design System team. This year I've grown my team to 4 product designers while still continuing to design as an individual contributor. I'm passionate about nailing the small details that make up a great experience–more recently my focus has been around motion and how we can systematize it at Back Market.

Present

For the past 4+ years, I've been leading design for Back Market’s circular services (trade-in, recycling) and more recently also their Design System team. This year I've grown my team to 4 product designers while still continuing to design as an individual contributor. I'm passionate about nailing the small details that make up a great experience–more recently my focus has been around motion and how we can systematize it at Back Market.

Being half French half Irish I value a diverse and multi-cultural work environment where people with different backgrounds and skillsets come together to build delightful products. I aspire one day to maybe join a company that blends both hardware and software, to get closer to designing physical objects with new surfaces and different constraints—outside of the typical 375x812px screen.

Future

In the future, I'm looking to continue to grow and learn from the experiences of other designers. Being half French half Irish I value a diverse and multi-cultural work environment where people with different backgrounds and skillsets come together to build delightful products. I aspire one day to maybe join a company that blends both hardware and software, to get closer to designing physical objects with new surfaces and different constraints—outside of the typical 375x812px screen.
